Fassionola | The Modern Tiki Cocktail Syrup (8oz)
Cocktail & Sons Fassionola is a re-imagining of the lost tiki syrup first produced in the 1950s for the original Hurricane cocktail. Our take is a tropical fruit syrup with fresh Louisiana strawberries, hibiscus, and lime for modern tiki and beyond. Winner of the Garden & Gun Made in the South Awards: Drink category.
Fassionola is highly seasonal, with bottles released only during the Louisiana strawberry season from mid-March to May. For first dibs, join the newsletter!

The Ginicane
Created by our friend Matt Pietrek, aka the Cocktail Wonk and author of Minimalist Tiki, this is his take on the classic Hurricane. We love how the soft, rounded bitterness of Aperol and crisp, pine notes of a classic London Dry gin play against the tropical fruit and strawberries in Fassionola. Experiment with different gins and aperitifs to find your sweet spot.
- 2 oz gin
- .5 oz Aperol
- .75 oz lemon juice
- .75 oz Cocktail & Sons Fassionola
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker and top with ice. Shake briskly for 10 seconds. Strain into an Old Fashioned glass over crushed ice, ideally. Garnish with whatever makes you happy.
Gypsy Rose
Named after the infamous Gypsy Rose Lee, this flirty twist on the iconic Jack Rose cocktail subs out Fassionola for grenadine and bourbon for Irish Whiskey, though there’s no harm in subbing in a little bourbon.
- 2 oz Irish whiskey (or bourbon)
- .75 oz Cocktail & Sons Fassionola
- .75 oz lemon juice
Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker and top with ice. Shake briskly for 10 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with an expressed lemon peel.
